Mark 10:27
- "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."
Most questions warrant an answer. Yet there are some that need no answer. To explain, one songwriter wrote, "Could it be that questions tell us more than answers ever do?" The Bible abounds with such examples.
Genesis 18:14 records - "Is anything too hard for the LORD?"
Numbers 11:23 says - "Is the LORD's hand waxed short?"
Jeremiah 32:27 says - "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?"
In Mark 12:24 Jesus asks - "...Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?"
The very fact that Jesus is Lord automatically proves that nothing is too hard for Him. His hand of power can never be shortened that it cannot save. He is the God of all flesh. Therefore, no situation concerning our lives can baffle Him or leave Him without a solution. We come short because we do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God. He ever remains the same - the God of the Impossible.
Job 42:2 - We definitely must come to the place in our walk with the Lord where we can assuredly and truthfully declare as Job did - "I know that Thou canst do every thing..." The only reason why we cannot boldly say this is ignorance - we simply do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God.
Ephesians 3:20 - The Scriptures teach us repeatedly that God is an awesome God Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Almighty Power is attributed to Him and Him alone.
1 Chronicles 29:12 tells us - "..in Thine hand is power and might."
2 Chronicles 25:8 says - "...God hath power to help..."
Job 26:12 says about God that - "He divideth the sea with His power..."
Psalm 62:11 says - "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God."
Psalm 65:6 says of God that He is "girded with power."
Lastly, Psalm 93:4 says - "The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea."
Which situation in your life could possibly stand up against this Almighty Being? Jesus has all power and might in His hands.
Ask Him to touch your body. Ask Him to touch your mind. Ask Him to touch your children and family members. He certainly has the power to undo what the devil has done.
Ask Him to touch your marriage. Ask Him to touch your relationships with others, your church, or your business. All power and might is in His hands.
Are you facing a situation where it just doesn't seem like there is any help available?
Do you feel like David as recorded in Psalm 142:4 - "I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul"?
2 Chronicles 25:8 says - "God hath power to help."
Call upon Jesus today. He is ready and willing to help you no matter what kind of circumstance you may be facing.
Perhaps you feel like you are between a rock and a hard place. You can't go forward, and you certainly don't want to go backwards. You feel like you are being chased down by the enemy of your soul.
Be encouraged! God divided the sea with His power. He will split the sea that you are up against. He will make a way where there is no way for you to go through onto Victory.
Is the devil tormenting your mind with all his negatives saying -
"You'll never be healed!
You're a failure. You might as well give up trying!
Things will never change. Circumstances will always be this way!
Nobody cares about you. You're going to be alone the rest of your life. Just accept this fact!"
Devil, you are a liar!
Psalm 93:4 tells us that - "The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea."
In our minds, the devil's lies can be likened to the noise of many waters or the mighty waves of the sea in their force and their constancy. Nevertheless, the words of Jesus, the Most High God, are mightier than all the noise of the devil! Hallelujah!
With men it is impossible.
With God all things are possible.
What you are facing just simply cannot be rectified by men.
On the other hand, what you are facing can be handled by God for He is able. He is all-powerful. He is capable. He has the power.
Why not turn it over to Jesus today?
He is, was, and always will remain the God of the impossible.
Stop looking to man for help.
Look to Jesus.
